Haven't been home this week. Get back tomorrow just in time for the game. Taking two British guys who want to see Pirlo. I told them I hope they don't get their wish

Maxi running in the training video, but his calf was heavily taped. Brandi Chastain also still looking pretty good.
Put him on the bench just in case we need something a little bit extra in the last 30 mins.
There is absolutely zero reason we should be endangering or slowing a full recovery for Minnesota.
So absolutely no reason not to play the same lineup as last game with the wild cards being:https://www.nycfc.com/post/2017/06/28/injury-report-maxi-still-mend

WTF Minnesota, that's 7 down on a 23 man roster. The Loons' cant even fill out a full 18 without emergency call ups.
matarrita is not startingKeep the same Starting XI, except Lurch for Johnson and Matarrita back in for Sweat.
I can't disagree with this, but Molino, Ibarra or anyone else taking cracks from outside the box with Lurch in makes me nervous.Keep the same Starting XI, except Lurch for Johnson and Matarrita back in for Sweat.

I guess I still have PTSD from watching 85 or so games with a non-existent midfield. Ring and Herrera should help us close down alright.
It really is key for us to control this game. We know Lurch isn't likely to bail us out even 1 or 2 times like SJ often has. (And no, I really can't let go how bad some of those goals he gave up against TFC were.)
How early do you have to get to the stadium and which gate do you wait at it you want to catch the players arriving and try to snag some autographs with you kids?
He is an instant impact sub at 60min. Rested, jitterbug legs are deadly to a tired defense, especially one that's been bruised by Wallace all game.If Mata is available, he plays. Question is how match fit he is? Can he go 60? Can he go only 30? Nice little subplot tonight. Don't mind him as an offensive sub 55-60 minutes in
