I'm headed to Mississippi today. The last time I was down there was in December. We played another PNW team on the road at that time. Let's hope we have a similar performance and result...
its 7PM local time, which is fine. my issue is that the return leg is 9PM just to accommodate the west coast..lol screw that.
Yeah, I know, and I totally understand that. I'm just meh about 10pm lol.
The 9pm thing, maybe that's NYCFC trying to say "here's enough time for people to drive to the game"? idk.
I'm all but certain NYCFC has no say in it.
I spent most of yesterday thinking the game was last night. Should have known better when this wasn't posted...

I agree. I can't seem to find viewer numbers for games broken down by MLS team but my bet is that typically Seattle pulls a much larger TV audience than NYCFC and the 9 PM start was chosen to grab as many west coast viewers as possible.
I'm not a noob with TV rights and the movement of matches, but them moving our home match to 9 p.m. for the West Coast viewers and not moving their match to 6 p.m. Pacific to accommodate East Coast viewers is some BULLshit.

I am amused that, to maintain neutrality, the Seattle-NYCFC match will have an officiating crew from Mexico.

i thought an MLS ref would get the call. Thats what happened last time when Philly went against Atlanta.
same. Hoping they can pull it off but worried about a 3-0 shellacking which ends the series.
