Setting this up now with the weather delay. Keeping it locked until after the match.

Didn't expect as good of a showing without some key players but we're definitely looking good and beating what there is of their press.

1-0 on a Lampard goal. Another McNamara assist.

2-0 Taylor

3-0 Mendoza

4-0 Lampard

5-0 Lampard

No sense in a MOTM Vote. I think Tommy takes it easily today.... Then 10 minutes later Lampard has 3 lol I'll put a poll up.

I keep on falling further in love with this team. Timmy vs. Tommy was fun, Lampard played well and Chanot, save for that last goal, showed he has the fundamentals down at the very least.

And another good response after another disheartening derby loss. Good to see the continued resilience from our boys in blue. NYCFC!

I have a strange, strange feeling we're going to do really, really, really well in this game and win like 5-0 or something. I don't know. It just came to me seeing the camera cut to de Blasio in the audience during the DNC. Then I immediately verbally booed out loud, alone in a room, thinking about his administration and our stadium woes.

Also, where the hell is Dante during our matches this summer? Has his Yale education turned him into a Revs fan?

Go buy a lottery ticket

Great win. Was a blast to watch.

Martinez seems like a very solid serviceable backup and occasional starter for situations like this. It is a shock that people like White have been picked over him. I hope that changes today.

Mena seemed solid but I was glad to see Chanot who is going to be instrumental for us the rest of the season.

I was happy with Hernandez at the back as well. Dont usually say that. Whole back line was solid.

I was glad Pirlo made the match. Him and Iraola did great job in distribution and clearances.

Lampard....Do we all love him yet? I do.

When Kreis said last season that Wingert is the guy you build a team around, I think he meant McNamara. The local New York hero gives his heart and soul on the pitch for this club and it shows. I loved the boos for Howard.

Harrison and Mendoza played well together. Look forward to seeing that partnership again in the future. Taylor was good too but disappeared at times before and after the goal.

Lopez is still shit and would like to see Mix. The fans deserve to know what is going on with Mix. I am fine with selling him but if he is going to sit on the bench and be paid what he is then it is inexcusable.

Saunders you ponce. Cant keep a damn clean sheet. Useless. Sign MacMath.

Wow the whole team played amazing. A shutout would of been perfect but can't really blame Chanot there. It just happened.
He was actually VERY good. Composed on the ball made the right pass every time and was very good in the air. Pretty sure he won every battle.

That second goal from Lampard was exceptional. He ran the full length of the pitch and battled to get to the right spot. That's what makes him special. HE KNOWS WHERE TO GO. Both of his goal in play he was at exactly the right spot to put the ball in.

I missed every second of this game. I was not even able to get on chat at all. I have not seen any of the highlights or watched the game through MLS Live DVR. I see the score which I am thrilled about. How did we look?
