This was a tough one. We finally looked like the team of 3 weeks ago with 10 minutes to go. JH CANT start at RB anymore. Get RJ back there and Mata on the right.
We got unlucky to draw this one.
But I do question why PV would come into this game so defensive minded. It's a head scratcher.

Vieira suspended for next match.

I changed to the TO game (though it's in rain delay), what's this about a card for Vieira?!

We blew two leads, but I mostly put this on PV. If Mata is able to come in as a sub he should start. If you have to sub him off in the 65th minute due to lack of match fitness fine.

You don't start out with the more "defensive" lineup, you start with your best XI and then you sub according to the game situation.

We did come back from behind once, and the team did play well offensively (mostly toward the end) so I guess I'll take those positives. At the end of the day, we got the road point. It is what it is.

Frustrating but overall it was no worse, and maybe better, than we deserved.

I enjoyed seeing Mendoza again.

What happened with Viera?

Well after the whistle he confronted the refs at midfield. Not sure if he made contact or it was just verbal but the ref showed him a card almost immediately.

3 straight Crew players played the ball inside our box the last 2 unmarked. How the fuck you blame Saunders for that I don't know.
Because the noob came off his line but wasn't committed to actually getting the ball. His decision making is that of a lobotomized idiot. Had he stayed on his line the ball would have hit him on the chest.

How can you defend him?

Read what I wrote; answer my question. And don't put words in my mouth.

After the USWNT team loss, I headed in the team wanting us to win to get my spirits up. Even more so, I expected us to win. On paper we're a significantly better team than Columbus. On MLSsoccer.com it was written that Vieira thinks Columbus is better than their standing, that Vieira is weary of Columbus. Is Vieira not confident in his team?

We played shit all through the first half. Columbus possessed the ball by more than 12% compared to us. We were defending all half. Once we Hernandez off the field, we begin to move again and score twice. But that last goal was just painful as fuck. On the second strike that led to a goal, Saunders should have just move toward whoever scored and expanded his body like a starfish. The point is to remove the angles to score. Going backward doesn't help at all. He just flopped around like that.

I don't know why Vieira got tossed, maybe he only thinks we can beat the best in the West at home when he's not on the bench. But we play LA next who I'd be happy with a tie. Then head to Orlando.

This was supposed to be the easiest stretch of the season for us but it's been troubling and we're on the verge of not winning in three straight matches.

What the hell is going on in our camp and who the fuck are we going to change it?

Saunders is awful , he is horrible with the ball at his feet and today he comes out and misses the ball and leaves the net open, not the first time he has done this ,he cost the team the game today. Rule #1 for goalies dont come out of your net trying to catch butterflies. Next year need a new goalie #1 priority.

Hernandez at right back weakens our starting eleven in so many ways. Right back is weak because of, well, Hernandez. He's not a good right back and he gives the right winger (usually Harrison) zero overlapping support. which allows the other team to double Jack. Left back is weaker because RJ is a good right back, but he's a terrible left back. RJ makes much poorer passing decisions on the left side because he has no level of confidence with his left foot, and overall Mata just combines much better with TMac. Hopefully all this nonsense is over now that Mata is healthy again.

Viera needs to start making changes playing Taylor was a poor decision he did nothing and no one should really be surprised. Hernandez should not see the field any more u less someone is injured or on a suspension and he should be limited to CB .

Play RJ Allen at his correct position which is right back and play materita at left back and if mats is not healthy play Martinez.

I know there is nothing we can do this season but Saunders needs to go next year, he hurts this team every game .
