Copa America 2019

how the mighty have fallen
Its tied..... A very questionable call for penalty

I dont like the fact they use VAR and dont show it to public like woman's world cup... I think the VAR has been so well executed for W. World Cup compared to Copa America

It's not *that* hard to explain. The AFA has been an organizational shambles for years. There was plenty written about it during the 2018 World Cup.

With that many good players to draw from and on the field ? They should do better regardless of any off the field drama.

knowing conmebol they probably purposely do it this way so then they dont get "exposed" at their shit decisions

Soo Messi has won nothing with Argentina. Ronaldo upper hand in a Portugal that is starless
No other stars perhaps (though Bernardo Silva is close to that status), but they've constructed a squad which functions.
Argentina has centerbacks and a 6 who can't pass out of the back, the managers refuse to start both Dybala and Messi, and Messi ends up having to take on the mantles of ball-winner, ball-progressor, receiver of passes, creator and shot taker.

You think a guy who's won almost every trophy in the world doesn't want a shot at the MLS Cup? ;)

How about the prestige of CCL glory? In all seriousness, I'd love to see the faces of Rooney or Zlatan showing up in the new Club World Cup in 2021 with their MLS team in tow vs some of their old buddies on PL or La Liga rosters. Like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
