I think this was covered in the New England thread.Perhaps some of the more statistically-inclined on this forum can give an answer to this, but it feels like we go through a finishing slump every season. To my recollection, it is not that unusual for the club to all of a sudden forget how to finish, and we always rebound. Of course we should be able to rebound this time, as well.
Let me also say this: Maybe the bye week stops us in our tracks, and three of our last five games are on the road, but it does feel like this team is on the verge of a hot streak. The entire goal is to be hot going into the playoffs. And the way we're playing, despite a comical inability to finish these last few weeks, good things happen to teams that play the way we've been playing these last two games. If we're on the verge of getting hot, it would be happening at literally the perfect moment of the season.
Also, the post three before yours has data that suggests the team's problem is not poor finishing.
