Seems sound. No idea why it took so long to get these interviews out.

I’m not surprised Villa pushed for him when given the option. (Pause here to pat my own back.)

Let’s hope that about does it for hearing about Pep, though. I imagine it will get old quickly if he name drops him every interview.

Also, I hope he doesn’t fall in love with Tommy just because they share the same body shape. But if he does, I guess I can rekindle my pro dreams because I think I too fit that mold - chiseled from the same sack of potatoes as it were.

I’m extremely happy we got him over some of the other potential choices.

I had a smile throughout my viewing of that interview. I am intrigued to see some of the changes Domé mentioned he will implement as the season progresses.
I am hopefully assuming they include plans designed to win the specific game we are facing (eta: not today, I mean specific generally).

But yes, he’s an affable character.

And his name easily fits into the Olé chant.

Eta2: And since we’re talking about general specifics:

Win or lose, it wouldn´t be fair to judge him on today´s game. I suspect he will rely much on Villa´s input. Though his substitutions can reveal if he was studying the team with vigor. This game can prove to be a catalyst for the season.

I didn’t mean today when I said specific. I meant whatever specific game.

Today doesn’t even count. I’m surprised he isn’t just watching from a box to keep it off his record.

I'm surprised they put him in charge, even if it's just nominally. Perez did all the prep. It's his game plan, even if Dome gave input via Skype.

Slightly concerned by him apparently not being all-in on us winning the cup this year. But he seems like a pleasant guy. Honestly? I'm excited.

“We have a good team. We are able to win MLS,” Torrent said in his first interview on NYCFC.com. “Our target is to try to win MLS. If not, we will try next year.

"We have a good front office. We are able to secure a stadium site. Our goal is to secure a stadium site. If not, we will try next year."

I noticed in the training video that his black sweatshirt didn't have the NYCFC logo on it. Anything to do with his visa?
