So dominant, in fact, Callens wasn’t anywhere to be found. And Chanot could have literally just stepped up and played Vela off.
Didn’t he collide with a teammate in the middle of the field and middle of the match? Somebody did and looked like they took a forearm to the head. Concussed?Yes. This also. Chanot really did not have a good game.
He’s quietly been shit for over a year now.Didn’t he collide with a teammate in the middle of the field and middle of the match? Somebody did and looked like they took a forearm to the head. Concussed?

Great moments and terrible in the same game even. Despite the mistakes, he made some really great recoveries against LA.Are we taking about Chanot?
I disagree that he’s been shit. He hasn’t been consistent. One great game followed by a mediocre one.
He is definitely overrated by the fans. But from the looks of it, doesn't look like he's going anywhereHe’s quietly been shit for over a year now.
Did you see the CBs that came before him?He is definitely overrated by the fans. But from the looks of it, doesn't look like he's going anywhere

When he came to the team, he was also touted as having the ability to distribute and carry the ball, which he can do, but has definitely been eclipsed by Callens.Yeah, I am in no way saying he's bad. He's actually pretty consistent and doesn't mess up horribly with a regularity. I am saying that with every other position improving over the years Chanot does not have the same upside many players on this roster do*. I also think with the pass first offense we have going here Chanot's limitations have been brought to the forefront more than before.
When he first came onto this team, I was ecstatic because I couldn't handle having to watch Brillant be the "good CB" in a defense.
*= of starting quality
I don't think he is as good as he thinks he is.
I mean, you’re right. But when you’re a center back, being inconsistent is worse than being shit. And he’s been wildly inconsistent. Are we taking about Chanot?

I've been wondering if we might see Ibeagha.I mean, you’re right. But when you’re a center back, being inconsistent is worse than being shit. And he’s been wildly inconsistent.

With all the discussion about who drops for Héber, I wonder if it's maybe Chanot - Héber drops Maxi who drops Ring who drops Sands who drops Chanot to the bench.
Medina drops, Duh...

To be more specific, he’s great except when he’s not, and then he looks like he’s never played before. Reminds me of big dog Degsy, except Chanot has one meltdown per match instead of one every 2-3 months. Same principle. That’s fair
