We're winless through 4 games, and after hosting Montreal next week, 6 of the following 8 games are away. It is not unlikely that the team will have only 3 wins through 13 games. Then there are 4 straight at home, and I'm starting to think that those 4 could decide whether Dome finishes the year or not. It's one thing to commit to giving him a full season beginning to end through mediocrity. But we could easily reach midsummer with approximately 1 PPG over a 30 game stretch if the team doesn't dominate those home games. And due to the schedule, midsummer should be when the European coaching prospects that CFG likes become available.

ETA: This is why I was dismissive of the idea that Home draws against LAFC and DC were somehow good. You have to win home games.

That’s generous at 3wins.

In my heart of hearts, I think the only way he loses his job during the season is for doing something off the pitch.
Then the ownership doesn't care one bit about the club's results. That's telling to keep a manager who is a fraud and drowning from a situation of their own making.

I'm Dome out but it's the tip of the iceberg there's a lot more wrong with this team/ organization than Dome. I'm getting close to CFG out though I'm not sure we could be the same club name/colors etc. Without them... but if their going to stay we don't just need a better coach but better recruiting. Decent loans from the mother ship etc.

100 percent. When I spoke to Reyna he basically said that results didn't matter. Then again, Reyna doesn't control the managerial decisions.

But maybe, the only saving grace of keeping Dome is because he's the only manager that would step aside when Pep comes in. I think that's our only hope now, Pep. And I'm legitimately serious. No Etihad Island bullshit. The only thing that can save this team is Pep Guardiola, because Dome will not be fired.

You better pray UEFA and FA drop the hammer and go medieval on MCFC with a total transfer ban and no Continental tournaments. Short of that, Pep isn’t leaving for a while.

I honestly don’t think it matters to them.

As best as you can guess, what does matter? Is NYCFC basically just about marketing Man City to the USA? That still doesn't make sense because a bad US team is poor marketing.

Well, let's just focus on field items. There are many things a team could do during the course of the season...
- Field the best possible team and contend for a title
- Field the most optimal team and compete for a title
- Tank for a draft pick (not in MLS)
- Develop young talent (Well Sands has started, we have JPT on a permanent, Parks is on a loan)
