Hmm, I can't see him leaving CFG because he's tight with Pep. But I don't think another MLS team would sign Dome. Do we want Dome after next season after his 2.5 year contract is over?

I think there’s at least a 40% chance this quote was misinterpreted by a dude who hasn’t spent enough time listening to Dome. Live, this easily could have been:
“Right now I think I adapt because I understand many things about MLS, about the United States and that is the reason why I want to work here many, many years, if it’s possible in this club.”

I think what Dome was basically saying was that he wants to be here for many years but it's not his call -- the team has to want him. If he can't stay here, he'll find something else, but he doesn't want to have to do that.
That's the way I read it. His syntax is so weird sometimes that it's hard to really get what he's trying to say, but I think that might be what he would have said had he been speaking Spanish.
Yeah - He's not going to be going to any European club that offers a better deal for him that being in New York. And he wouldn't really go anywhere lower because he can just get back with Pep. So it's here, or back with Pep, or retire.
maybe, but i think the dude really wants a B team in nycfc because it seems he really likes promoting academy kids and youth and pushing them to be first team players.

To the contrary, he appears to hate the weirdness of MLS (insane travel, playing through international breaks) and is constantly using that as an excuse even as he tries to claim he's not using it as an excuse.
I think he'd be great as a B coach for NYCFC long term for playing the youth players and getting them ready for the first team. He's shown he's more likely to play homegrown youth that Vieira.
If Scally wasn't injured, I could see him getting starting minutes.

Taking out the neutral option, last night it was 45 on the negative side, to 9 on the positive side. As of this post, it's narrowed to 39-19
I'm pretty sure a lot of those votes are people who won't come back to change their vote, and thus to get a more accurate reading a reset would be good! especially after this run of games
I can't go back in time and take a screenshot of where things stood before discussion of resetting the poll and votes changed. But I will set it it now.
