I had no problem with Leeds scoring. In fact I wish teams did it more often. It’s the referees job to stop play. If the referee deems the player is over reacting/simulating then play on and the trainer can come out at the next dead ball.Lalas has a point here. If faking injuries were less common then opposing teams would be more likely to stop play when someone is apparently hurt.
looked like a good call to reverse his original decisionOoo then Jack fouled a Derby player the Leeds box. Ref pointed to the spot, but reversed the decision after talking to the linesman. Lampard pissed.
I would've been fine with that being a foul outside of the box as it was a tough call and could have gone either way, but there's no way I'd say that was enough of anything to be a penalty. If you call that a foul and give a free kick somewhere out in the midfield that's fine, but to have given such a huge advantage in the form of a penalty would have been far beyond what the offense merited. I was quite OK with that being reversed by the referee.looked like a good call to reverse his original decision

Holy shit, what a pass. Leeds has to keep him if they go up.I miss Jack so much. What an amazing sequence for him on that goal.

Where is Bamford? Injured?
Interesting.Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford has been given a two-match ban after a charge of successfully deceiving a match official was proven.
The Football Association announced on Thursday that Bamford would miss two games – Sunday’s clash at Ipswich and the first leg of the play-off semi-final – after clutching his face during a mass altercation between Leeds and Aston Villa players last Sunday.
Villa’s Anwar El Ghazi was sent off as a result, but there was no contact made and El Ghazi’s red card has was rescinded.
In a statement, the FA said Bamford denied the charge but Leeds countered saying they had asked for a “sensible sanction” after boss Marcelo Bielsa had allowed Villa to score in response to Leeds netting while one of their players was injured.
The Fabian Delph Derby.Aston Villa get past WestBrom on PK. Really want Leeds to win tomorrow then it's tough choice for me. Would like to see both of those "classic" clubs back up. disappointed we're getting Norwitch again they've never done anything for me.
Yeah. Not just the cross but his first touch on the line and then his movement to receive the other end of the 1-2. If you squint it could be Villa on that one.I miss Jack so much. What an amazing sequence for him on that goal.
