Ok, here's our latest standing. Only movement was at the top. sbrylski jumped from 4th to 2nd place! Pushing mgarbowski our of the Champions League position. Big matchups this week, including mgarbowski looking for some revenge vs sbrylski and to move back into the CL position - Let's call it the Ski Derby! Also, we all get to use our unlimited transfers! Don't forget to make them by tomorrow, short turnaround!!!

EDIT: Changed Round 19 fixtures to correct ones.

And now for our Pigeon Cup!!!! I just drew the 3 groups from the pots provided. Below are the standings/brackets for the Pigeon Cup. Beneath that is the schedule of what rounds we'll have matches. Remember the winner of the Pigeon Cup gets cash and a CL spot! I think my group is the Group of Death :/

Just looking at this. Do you guys think I should move the quarterfinal from Round 28 to Round 24? It avoids the DGRs in Round 28 and having to play coming off a big bye week when teams are trying to reset their rosters. But it also means a month between the quarter and semi finals. Any thoughts?

adam I agree to move quarters from round 28. I like quarters to round 24 or move quarters and semis to rounds 29 & 30 and the Cup Championship will be on unlimited transfers round 33 for the grand finale.

I agree to move quarters from crazy weeks and accept however you manage that.

I like the 2nd idea! Rounds 29 & 30 quarters and semis. And then round 33 for the final. So it is written, so it shall be done. I'll adjust the calendar accordingly when I'm by my computer.

sbrylski we have pretty similar rosters. But the differences end today. I got Morris, Alonso & Drogba (+ a 10 point lead) vs Villa, Harrison, and Valeri. It will be hard to root against you. I guess if you win, the Pigeons probably win, so I'm hedged emotionally this afternoon.

Just a reminder fixtures for the Pigeon Cup is as follows. I'll manually follow and enter the scores after the week is over, but it will be the same as your regular season score if you want to track it yourself against your cup opponent.

Also, sbrylski 's strong run of play has him nipping at the heals of Jack for the top spot and cash prize. Looks like it could get interesting down the stretch.
