Why do I have the sinking feeling that this game is the one where Agudelo scores his one “amazing” goal per season and Fagundez shows up. Ugh.
Depth Chart
(Players in parenthesis could be moved to the given position)
Forwards: Villa, Lewis, Castellanos, (Matarrita)
Midfielders: Maxi, Ring, Amagat, McNamara, Awuah, Sands, Bedoya
Fullbacks: Tinnerholm, Matarrita, Sweat, SAS, Scally
Centerbacks: Ibeagha, Callens(?), (Sands), (Sweat)
Villa needs to put this team on his back over the next two games, score a few goals and get the six points. Time to grind out two wins.
Hope you're right, guess we will see just how potent your Force powers are.Getting a sense Sands starts today.
We will start in 10 men before sands starts a game for us within the next 2 yearsGetting a sense Sands starts today.
I have to think that a kid like Sands will err on the side of caution, which would probably allow Alex to play up a little higher. It feels like our gameplan has been to get the ball to Alex or Maxi asap, and having him a little higher upfield could potentially open a lot up for us.One question regarding the lineup is whether Sands is viewed more as a CB for this game or a CM. I would love to see him start (either position).
If Sands starts at CM, I think it's a good midfield with Maxi and Ring. If he starts at CB, that frees us to move Sweat to LB and move Matarrita up to LW. That means Castellanos could be in the midfield, which sounds better to me than the alternatives.
I don't think any of those happen. My guess is that he will be depth at one or the other.
