Home game vs Houston being moved to Hartford, CT

Seating map and pricing.

More expensive than I expected. There won't be traffic like last time. The us game was a Friday night. Rush hour traffic.

Was planning on bringing the whole family, but not spending 200 bucks to get good seats. Really surprised on pricing. Oh well, I won't bitch and complain, I'll just decide if it makes sense to give them my money.

I just want to point out Houston is fighting for a top spot in the West so I don't think anonymous is the right word. Communication is key to keeping us all happy. Don't hate the Rent or CT but to drop a move like this during the middle of a season is plain just fucked up. Can a STH check their agreement to see if something like this is covered in it? If this was made known that any schedule conflict games will be played at sites (X,Y,Z) there would be a lot less backlash.

I know I am in the VAST minority on this but I am loving this, I am a UCONN student so it is a chance for me to bring a bunch of people to an NYCFC game, UCONN already has a really strong NYCFC fan base such that we plan regular trips to the games in NYC, Pratt and Whitney Stadium is a really nice stadium and the tickets are going to be a lot cheaper than at Yankee stadium, I also like the Dynamo so that's going to be a fun game for me to go to. Also, the tailgating is actually awesome here so if people put in the effort it can be an amazing quasi-home game. I do feel for everyone though and hope you can make it to the game, I may get to meet some of you there and have a good time watching the game.

After calming down (a bit, I'm still livid at CFG, Yankees, MLB, MLS, Rob Manfred, Don Garber, Patricof, de Blasio), Connecticut is the best business decision the club can make. Cheap tickets to the match, $10 roundtrip transportation, refund for the Yankee Stadium prices are the right moves the club made. But they need to do something more to make the in stadium experience extraordinary. Playing in RBA would do nothing for the club. It would mean that the PATH is a convenient option and New Jersey is acceptable. We would generate no new business there. Connecticut is an open market. If they aren't Revs fans and they aren't supporting us, this would possibly generate more fans. We played in Arizona. We played in Puerto Rico. We played in Florida. We played in Manchester. Obviously all preseason or friendlies.

It's one game. It's going to feel shitty and it's never going to go away until we get a stadium in the five boroughs of our own.

That being my family pays $15K for tickets. A damn email is not sufficient for customer service.

It looks like they will be sending unique codes for city members, not a log-in. You can have my code, as I just realized I can't make it unfortunately.

I know our fan base really doesn't like NJ but Rutgers is half the drive and has a fucking train station. If fucking San Jose can get Stanford's stadium we can surely get a stadium of a state college of a state that is stupid enough to elect Christie. I'm sorry I still haven't calmed down and it feels like I might be a little obsessed with Rutgers but seriously NJ is more NYC than fucking Hartford. If they wanted to do Stamford if they had a stadium FINE. I consider them NYC area but FUCKING HARTFORD IS NOWHERE. Fuck me I'm going to sleep.

Just finished recording the podcast and we talked about it with a friend who works for the NYC government, if you want to see something done...

This is why it would be helpful for the team to give us some info so we could be somewhat more specific when we reach out. What are we supposed to tell our reps with what we know? Excuse me but I'm a big fan of NYCFC would you please help support the building of a stadium of unknown size for the team at some point I have no idea when, on some site somewhere in the city? Can I count on your support?
