Question: Has it been confirmed somewhere that only the first level of citi field will be opened up for ticket sales?

That would explain why my 3rd row the second level at YS turned into row 33 of the 1st level at citi field.

Don't know. But my row 2 right behind the goal turned into row 16 in the corner and pretty far away from the field. I've gone from someone happy to go to Citi to someone who is now wishing for a return to YS.

ETA: Let's go Stros!!

I sold my tickets on StubHub last night for slightly below face value. I did not want to sit in section 124, way behind the goal, 25 rows back. I'd need binoculars to see the other side of the field.

I'll either pick up tickets on the presale or get tickets off StubHub which are STRANGELY BELOW THE FACE VALUE of the presale tickets and are being sold in groups of 10 or 12 tickets.

I think it's such bullshit that either NYCFC is putting their own tickets in StubHub or gave large amounts of tickets to a ticket reseller who is now undercutting season ticket holders.

I am 103 at YS which is midfield. For put on 114 which is the infield almost at CF.
I think the back of 114 is about as far away from the field as possible.

Also seems away supporters have some of the best seats.

Founding member (first 300) season ticket holder here....(sorry just bragging a little)

Got my seats in section 105 entry rotunda....never been to Mets stadium hopefully I don't get a seat near the foul cover net I keep hearing about

look at the photo in the post above. You’re right next to my SS104. Right field corner. Shouldn’t be any netting by then.

"There is some amount of netting or screening in front of the following seating sections; the height and coverage of netting or screening will vary by section:
Sterling Suites 1-10; Sections: 11-19, 109-114 & 121-126; Delta Patio Sections 14 & 16"

i just peeked on stubhub. there are banks of tickets but it's very possible they are upset single ticket holders trying to get rid of their seats in order to purchase seats next to people they actually want to sit with or in a section they want to sit in. they are lower priced, but stubhub lets users set their price, so could just be STHs trying to sell instead of being stuck with paying for double tickets. but your theory of the club purposefully cheating its supporters by undercutting them themselves or with a 3rd party works too.

I remember back in 2017 only the local 7 train was supposed to be running for our match vs. Columbus at Citi Field. NYCFC got the MTA to run an express 7 to Citi Field and a super express 7 back to Manhattan after the match. And Sims can't even convince Citi Field to get Shake Shack open for this match.

hot take: Shake Shack is meh

I've never understood the fascination. It's better than other fast food, but it's still a fast food burger. Yankee Stadium's bareburger concession stand in left field is better.

the fries are great but the burger itself feels meh to me.

it's the sauce man.. the sauce!!!!

i think cause it's NYC people go more crazy for shake shack cause it's a NYC original. Just like in DC they are all about five guys being the greatest and in cali they feel that way about in-n-out.

to me, shake shack is probably supreme and i'm from philly, lived in DC, and have visited cali a lot. overall flavor, bun to patty proportions, and size get high marks from me. fries are great too.
