We drew without Maxi, Chanot, Callens, Isi and Taty, as adam was kind enough to remind me.

Jozy is coming back from injury. Delgado may have pulled a hamstring. Brillant now plays at DC and Giovinco isn't there to castrate him. In spite of this he took a rocket to the nuts tonight.

We have some irrational scar tissue when it comes to Toronto but we are a great team, playing at home with a likely to be raucous crowd. We've shown we can bury bad memories in big matches against the Red Bulls. It's going to be an intense battle but I'm feeling pretty good about things.
We had Taty. No Héber. ;). Also missing jimmy sands as an option to hold it down.

which brings up the debate. We starting sands or parks vs TOR. Bc you can’t start both.

we did have Isi and Taty.... but the rest of what you said stands :)

This. What drives it? Is it the 2016 playoff loss, when we played Josh Saunders and Erik Johansen in goal? Or is it our regular season record against TFC all-time where we have a winning record at home and even away? Or is it the 2 games this year, neither of which were played with anything resembling our best 11?

We’re only technically playing at home.

Personally it's Giovinco skinning Brillant. But it's not representative of the situation on Wednesday.

In that we are only technically going to have 20,000 screaming fans on our side? Or that we are only technically going to have a drive to the game while Toronto flies?
I stand by my comment. It's a neutral venue in that it's not our home field - we will have more fan support, but we won't have the mojo that comes with our home stadium.

It's absolutely no different than when UF plays Georgia in Jacksonville, except that it's the inverse with the name, where that's called a neutral venue, yet it's in the heart of UF fandom with the crowds always in UF's favor, but it doesn't bring the mojo of The Swamp.

I consider it a true home game because players get to sleep and train in the same place leading up to the match. If the team had to spend a night in a hotel in Hartford, that would be different.

Not even close. The WLOCP is split 50/50 in fan support. It’s a 2 hour drive from Gainesville. While it is closer than Athens and in the state of Florida, everyone from both fan bases go and it’s split 50/50 in tickets.
We are playing in the same city and the fan split will be equal to that of YS. Your analogy, while still not correct, might have been more accurate if you compared he canes playing at Joe Robbie vs the orange bowl :)
