Even if he wasn't going out on loan, he still wouldn't have been able to return until at least Nov. 1 due to the 14-day travel quarantine.
from what I’ve seen it doesn’t apply to athletes as they’re ‘rigorously tested.’
If he wasn't going out on loan, I doubt he was actually going to be released for National Team duties.
Edit: I misread at first that the entire team might not travel but the subsequent also clarified why the team traveled but that individual did not:
i mean cincy was similar case and they let it go ahead so im not surprised. Only in the case of like colorado where you have multiple cases then they postpone.
