I was browsing the MLS portion of the forum and I came across a section about a re-entery draft. What is this draft and how does it work?

Are there any other different lesser well known drafts that take place?

There are always more drafts.

Reentry draft is for players who did not get new contracts from their previous mls team.

....no, NYCFC, according to the current CBA, can have up to 30 players on its roster. That might change by 2015 but its a good target.
