This song could definitely work. It's a punk song from the band Bouncing Souls. Lyrically it works, with very little changes needed. It's a great anthem for all the supporters.

@Vito The Red Bulls use that chant at the games, the only difference is "Metro" instead of "City"... @einwindir They also used to play the chorus to True Believers at Red Bull arena after RB scored... not in the past 2 seasons tho, AFAIR.

Yeah I know... I mean, I think we could still get away with True Believers, I think it's a better choice than NY NY...
I don't know if RB ever claimed it or anything, but they did used to have it playing after goals. Now I think they play Bulls on Parade.
How about "Here we go!" by Bouncing Souls, that might work. Just change "bouncing souls" in the lyrics to "new york city / NYC"...
Yes. Even just using the chorus as a chant would be cool.
@einwindir I meant "Ole!" by Bouncing Souls, and changing the lyrics... but Here We Go is a good one too.

Lol. Yea, that's a pretty big difference. Ole! would definitely be a lot easier to get a bunch of people to sing.

I've always been a fan of this chant we did in high school ...
_______ (name of player on the other team) has herpes! (clap clap clap clap clap clap) to the beat tune of "let's go rangers" or really any team.

pretty simple change sydney to city, change harbor to hudson and then at the end just where we will be playing (i.e. the boys in blue from the bronx)
