As this threads gets more and more difficult to follow we can make a separate one and keep the ideas in the first post.
Right now I'm liking the influx of ideas and the thread has a great flow to it so why stop now?

This song could definitely work. It's a punk song from the band Bouncing Souls. Lyrically it works, with very little changes needed. It's a great anthem for all the supporters.

Yeah I know... I mean, I think we could still get away with True Believers, I think it's a better choice than NY NY...
I don't know if RB ever claimed it or anything, but they did used to have it playing after goals. Now I think they play Bulls on Parade.
How about "Here we go!" by Bouncing Souls, that might work. Just change "bouncing souls" in the lyrics to "new york city / NYC"...
Lol. Yea, that's a pretty big difference. Ole! would definitely be a lot easier to get a bunch of people to sing.einwindir I meant "Ole!" by Bouncing Souls, and changing the lyrics... but Here We Go is a good one too.

pretty simple change sydney to city, change harbor to hudson and then at the end just where we will be playing (i.e. the boys in blue from the bronx)

We are one/unified city (whichever goes better with the timing)

we.are.a.com.pa.ny (6 syllables)
we.are.five.bo.ros (5 syllables) too short for first verse
we.are.un.i.fied.ci.ty (7 syllables) too long for 2nd verse
we.are.one.ci.ty (5 syllables) too short for 2nd verse
I like the concept, but needs to be altered to fit timing better.
