MIAMI — Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea will headline the 2015 International Champions Cup in the United States in July, organisers said on Wednesday.

The pre-season tournament, which has attracted huge attendances across the States, will feature 10 clubs in its third year, including three from North America's Major League Soccer.

The other European teams in this year's competition are French champions Paris St Germain, 27-times Portuguese champions FC Porto and Italian Serie A club Fiorentina.

Mexican champions Club America, who have a large fan base in the U.S., will be the first Liga MX team to feature.

While venues are yet to be announced, the three MLS clubs New York Red Bulls, LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes, are likely to play at home.[/i]

i just hope the inclusion of RBNY doesn't mean they're in the only NY-area game. Hopefully, they play one of the lesser teams at RBA and we still get a matchup of Titans at MetLife of YS. Barca/Chelsea at Yankee Stadium would suffice.

sooooo who is going to see chelsea at red bull arena i guess. sucks its a weeknight.

Interesting. Too bad that Energy Drink Arena is the only local venue, but if you can make it down to DC, Barca and Chelsea will be a heck of a game.

Don't know what I'll be doing in July but I'm considering it. I heard FedEx Field is a terrible venue though.

Decisions, decisions... Do I get tickets to the International Champions Cup to watch some of the top tier teams from around the globe or do I go to Dallas to watch Swansea City, Olympique Lyon, Malaga, Pachuca and others in another tournament? I'm leaning towards going to Dallas for Swansea!

Regardless, it should be a fun summer to go watch some soccer.
