We acquired an international spot with the money we got for Jacobson.
Fascinating - because while I never expected his injury to hold him out too long, which of the so-called "journalist" bloggers claimed he'd be out the entire year?!? Are they just ducking the subject now or have any owned up to their poor "reporting?"

I don't remember the who's but there were blogger-journalists posting on the twitter-verse that jumped on that bandwagon, of him being out the entire season, like they had inside info, which they didn't.
On these boards there was a very good and lengthy discussion about how long was realistic for the injury, and a few of us pretty much pegged it dead on based on our own experiences and knowledge.
Recent article quotes jack saying he'd love to play for England, but would play for US if England shows no interest.
