Ummmm, roughly half of the games would be at home..... This isn't any extra games or anything, this is taking games that are already being played, and announcing a winner among the five.

Oh I thought it was extra games in some meaningless cup tourny. My apologies for my ignorance. I will crawl back into not caring about this topic and stay away.

I'm 100% in favor of this. Not that it's going to be some amazing thing, but it does add some additional side fun to the season. I'm all for making being a fan more fun. If you win great. If not it's no big thing. There's no downside to it, and offers a handful of games a little extra oomph.

I highly doubt it would be extra games. And if it was, I'd be right there with you that its stupid. I'm guessing, as others have also alluded to, this would be very similar to the Cascadia Cup in the PNW.

As someone else previously pointed out, where is this coming from? I haven't seen any of these rumors elsewhere or any links?

were NYCFC....the rest of the league hated us the day the club was announced a "little more fun" is already there.

How is this going to work, if implemented? Do we just play the games we otherwise play and whoever earns the most points in direct matches among those teams gets the cup?
