What a great article. Have to share.
100% agree.
- Never went to an MLS game before this season and barely watched on TV (maybe one or two matches in passing). Now I'm a season ticket holder and go crazy during the games.
- I bought a subscription to MLS live and watch other team's matches.
- I follow this league almost as close as baseball (my favorite sport, fantasy too).
- I've bought a primary and secondary jersey, three t-shirts, a sweatshirt, two scarves, and two hats (more merchandise than any other of my favorite teams).
- Member of the Third Rail.
And when we're in our own soccer stadium, Yankee Stadium will have been a good place to have started this journey.
Soccer can do crazy things to someone.

Great article. When my friends ask why I got season tickets for the new team I tell them I see it as buying giants tickets in the 50's. when there sold out thats it
FOr all my griping about the team, I'm enjoying the home game experience tremendously.
Agreed. I'm a fan of the team itself, and of the game. If they also happen to win that's a total bonus.
