Man City Discussion

Doesn't look like tomorrow's Capital One Cup final against Liverpool is going to be televised here. Only on BeIN. Somewhat annoyed by this.

City wins the Capital One Cup after three consecutive saves by Caballero in a penalty shootout. Yaya hit the winner in the 4th round.

This season, lol. What an absolute nonsense of a year.

Ah well, it'll be entertaining seeing Spurs and Leicester fight it out for the win.

Yeah, if we don't win the Champions League then what the fuck?

Hell, City could end up not even qualifying for it this year. The KDB and Kompany injuries really hurt them, and Silva + Aguero need to be better. They subbed Bony on against LP and I found myself wondering why the hell not Nacho, the kid is the only one scoring any damn goals right now.

The Bony move from Swansea to MC seems to be one of those transactions that hurts all 3 parties.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the Bony move when it happened. A couple of occasions it looked like it might end up working out but he's always flattered to deceive, really.

Kompany substituted out after a hamstring injury after 5 minutes in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 up 3-1 on aggregate. With the Manchester Derby this weekend, is Pellegrini to blame?

Kompany subbed out in 6th minute of Champions League match against Dynamo Kyiv. Looks like he pulled a hammy.

And now Otamendi out with a knee in the 24th minute. Both central defenders gone.

Can't see that Pellers is to blame for that. The problem is just that he has chronic knee problems - think the stat the BBC published today was 14 knee injuries in his 8 years in Manchester. You can't legislate for that, and if you try to find ways to avoid it the only thing you end up doing is wrapping the player up in cotton wool to the point where they cease to be useful to the team anyway. Honestly, at this point I'm more concerned about, simply put, Kompany has a long-term future left in the game or whether this is the kind of issue which is going to lead him to an early retirement.

New twitter handle. New website domain. New logo. New coach. New kit.

But I wonder how Manchester fans will like having the same kit style as that of the English National Team.

I see the new site and all, but not how their standard light blue kits looks like England whites.

Same style, different colors. Bad omens.
