What I don't like about this is that we're wearing our secondary black jerseys. Shouldn't we wear the home team and have Manchester City wear their away kits?

Yeah but the black one has more tributes to NYC. The Orange on the neck is for the Dutch founders of the city. There are 5 black stripes for the boroughs. Besides NY might be blue but it's not Man City sky blue.

I agree. I remember the usual lot complaining that the home kit shouldn't be sky blue, way back. For me the away kit is the best one anyway. In fact it is the best of the CFG teams hands down. I guess the issue here is that we were at home not the color.
