Yeah it was around the 70th minute. He stretched out for a ball, came up strange, waved off the med staff, then wound up sitting in front of the goal not getting up - doing the old holding the back of the leg hamstring routine
I'm going to hold off any comment until an injury update from NYCFC or MLS, which we know will be 100% accurate and given as soon as they know the full medical condition.
It's a curse to have National Team Players.... better to just have a bunch of guys that are good enough to play but always get ignored for call-ups thus putting a bigger chip on their shoulders....
I'd wager it's Costa Rica who has more of a right to be angry. He's been training with us for weeks, and pulls (?) a hammy in the next CR game. I wonder if it's just the temperature up here. RB had like 3 players limp off with hamstring issues already. Haven't these guys ever heard of spandex? Pretty sure I don't trust our medical staff to handle Harrison right now.
"I believe in Diego Martinez. I believe that on his watch, NYCFC can feel a little safer, a little more optimistic. Look at his face. This is the face of NYCFC's bright backline"
Haha. I had a HS Track coach who was a real sonofabitch and never fucked around. I ran cross country/winter track/spring track. He wouldn't let us take the spandex off until like May. We never had injuries. I see these guys training, early March in NY, already in shorts. Bad call.
