The 20 year-old from Music City Dunn has been around the world growing up in the Bundesliga and later in Belgrade before coming back to Chivas via the waiver draft. Dunn is able to use both feet, has great ball control and reads the game well. He’s the sort of player who would thrive under the cerebral Caleb Porter.
Young midfielder Matthew Dunn has a fair number of fans out there, as he won his second consecutive Chivas USA Player of the Month award, this time for October 2014.
Dunn played in three of the Goats' four games in the club's final month, with two of those games being wins to go into soccer heaven on a bright note. And he played a full 90 in all three games, as he worked his way into Wilmer Cabrera's squad.
Matthew Dunn, M: My gut says Dunn won't get picked and will go to USL PRO, but I think there's a chance the European pedigree and youth scouting network convinces one team to take a shot on him.
Woah, did anyone know he won POTM for the Goats in both September and October last year? It was selected by fan voting, the people who actually watch the games. How was that not picked up in pre-draft articles?

Dunn left UMFK to enter the MLS Waiver Draft and was selected by Chivas USA on April 17, 2014. Dunn finished the season strongly at the end of Chivas USA's last campaign in Major League Soccer, making seven appearances and earning player of the month for the final two months of the season.

His knowledge, together with his good pace, touches on the ball and eagerness to help win the ball will be key to our team’s success moving forward.”

What type of MF is he?
