Since we (as in the larger CFG) beat Toronto, do we get 3 points, or actually 4.6 with the conversion from pounds to dollars.

1)There's no we.
2) FILTHY goal by Evans
3) TFC forwards showed why they're at TFC and not Man City.
4) Only caught the second half but it was pretty entertaining for a money grab.

Watched it, enjoyed it.

Anyone else notice the ad boards were probably 70% Man City sponsor ads? It was like a City home game almost!

Visit Abu Dhabi, Visit the UAE, Etihad, Dubai 2020 Expo, etc., etc.

MCFC had the expo stuff on their shirts as well. Most likely sponsored a big chunk of the event
Yes, that was odd too, not having the usual league patches on the sleeves. Anyone recall what they did with that last time they played here, or what the other touring teams have on their sleeves?

In other news, kinda weird having an ad on your ass, no? Or maybe that's just me.

In England, you only wear the patches of the competition you're playing in at the time, so you have to wear different patches for the PL, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the Community Shield, the Champs League, the Europa League... In friendlies, teams don't tend to wear any patches as they're not really in a competition. If they do wear a patch then it'll be something cobbled together for the event.

Last night's match was cancelled due to the weather in Houston. No idea when they arrive but the city team is in new York this weekend, koralov and dzeko are at the mad hatter pub on Saturday.

That is part of the agreement that these teams have when they say YES to visiting our cities/teams in MLS. This is all marketing for their brand and this is all a CASH GRAB for our cities/mls/stadiums etc....nothing more nothing less.
