MLS - June 12 - Atlanta (YS)

I'd look into this place. Newish hotel and never been inside but I was stunned by how affordable it was for its location downtown

On the fringes of Soho/Tribeca/West Village so walkable to many great neighborhoods & restaurants. Also, just a couple blocks from the Hudson River and many great new parks being developed on the piers there

You are very welcome. I hope you have a great trip. Let us know if you need any advice about pre-game at Yankee Stadium. I hope the environment is good. It can often be a bit flat for the midweek games.

As for Manchester, I was there in 2022 with my son and the NYCFC supporters group, and we had a terrific time. I'd love to get back there.

Hi All,

I have decided to put off plans to come out early and go to the game on June 13th but I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who gave me advice.

It is not wasted as I will be over for a game at some point for sure, I am hoping the end of this season or the start of next season.

For the Club World Cup thing we ( me and the Mrs) are still flying into NY on Sunday 15th with 4 nights in Phily so if anyone is around and wants to meet up for a beer please let me know :) :

Monday, June 16 -Flamengo vs. Esperance de Tunis, 9 p.m. (Philadelphia)
Tuesday, June 17 - Fluminense vs. Borussia Dortmund, 12 p.m. (East Rutherford) - Travelling up from Philly on the day.
Wednesday, June 18 -The big one :)Manchester City vs. Wydad AC, 12 p.m. (Philadelphia).

We then Fly home from New York at 7pm on Thursday June 19th......I can probably make it through just 4 days of the heat .

If its ok I would like to stay on here as its a fantastic forum and is a credit to NYCFC. :nycfc:

Ps If anyone is planning on coming to the UK and needs help with match tickets ( City is easiest for me as a I am a season ticket holder, can try for other clubs though) or travel advice etc please let me know, will do my best.

A few days out but Thursday night looks like a scorcher (high 87).

Can’t we just have some good weather? Please????

Based on the reception Sean Johnson got, I doubt it lol

IIRC there were some comments he made after he left that didnt sit well with the fanbase. i dont think Ronny did, but he still did just leave in the middle of the season so that rubbed some the wrong way.

He left in the middle of our best season to date, ever. Check out that 2022 results before his left. Incredible run. Supporters' Shield winning year.

That tie in Nashville will be the happiest moments we'll get for some time. Recovery quickly Keaton!

This is ok for me. I would rather he take time off and get his foot right and come back 100% than try to play when it's not quite right yet and cause more damage. Sucks for us cause of how influential he is when he's on the field, but the rest of the squad just has to step up.

Gonna be a tough few weeks though, that's for sure. but hey, maybe he returns and leads us to Leagues Cup silverware? I'll take that.

Yeah, this season feels like a wash. We don't have the pieces in place to win it all, so why push it to try to contend. Rest up for 2026 with whatever crazy schedule MLS produces for the World Cup and we have two more transfer windows (Hi Aiden) for Pascal to get his guys.
