We looked better with 10 men on Saturday. I was really happy that Martins was back but he kept giving the ball away even before Sands got started doing the same thing. Ugh.
Not many bright spots. Jones again (the team need to learn to catch up with his penetration). O’Toole showed well, and when Gray wasn’t edgelording it in the box he was pretty effective defending.
Feels like Wolf and Bakrar do all the right things but just can’t finish. So frustrating.
I think Matisjevic has been our best CB in each of the last two matches. I thought Martins showed worse than Risa - my hunch is that he’s not fully fit.
LA were pretty sloppy too. I was watching with my nephew who knows little beyond the EPL and it was not a good advertisement for MLS.
