if both callens and chanot don't play, since both are listed as questionable, then we need 2 more on the 3-man back line. so Ibby would start and then we'd need another - which i think would be Vuk since Ronny seems to prefer him over gray at CB for the moment.
Of course, ronny also said Maxi and Callens would be available for today too - so who knows. I just hope they aren't trying to play if they aren't 100%. We can't risk a long term injury to either.

still dont understand favoring jasson over gray at RB. gray isn't exactly non-offensive. the kid was getting up field a lot in pre-season.

First I would say Drew Fischer cost us three points because of that dive by Luis Diaz that ended up with the first goal.
Sean Johnson cost us one point by some terrible goalkeeping.

johnson should have done better on 1st free kick. 2 man wall? seriously? he played the cross and didn't anticipate a shot. his fault. completely.
2nd one was a beaut and no keeper is going to save that.
team lost overall when we ran out of gas and gave CLB possession and just sat back. it was coming and it's what we deserve. especially when we don't have a front line that can hold onto the ball and a midfield that can go 90 mins to link the D to the Front.
we were missing key players, but this was defnitely a winnable game, which is the most frustrating thing.

as soon as Tinnerholm is back he will take the rwb spot - and will be a huge upgrade there.
just shows we don't have a true RWB replacement. Gloster is better than Jasson there in his few minutes. Gray is better than Jasson there as evidenced during preseason. why Ronny insists on Jasson there is beyond me. Kid can't even stay on his feet.
It’s on Ronny though, Jason gets fouled a lot he is more useful up front where those fouls can lead to better set pieces or even penalties.

Exactly. Also, we've allowed 6 goals in 6 games and 5 of them were from outside the 18-yard box. I don't think Johnson can consistently be as good as he was last year, and and hopefully not as uneven as he has been this year.
Depends on what you mean by finishing. We scored 1 goal on 1.14 xGoals. If finishing is shot conversion, that's perfectly normal finishing. We should have created more, better chances. If finishing includes everything in the final third, then yes, we could finish better.
I didn't have my eye on Acevedo regularly, but did notice 3-4 solid defensive pressures, including one that led to our goal.
Last few games have been extremely frustrating, but we are still playing without any replacements for either Heber or Mitrita (or GMS, FWIW), missed Maxi for most of the last few, as well as Callens, Tinnerholm and Morales.

so the numbers say we need better players up front? Because that taty miss in the first half and isi just bad wild shot in the second half and medina twice can’t control the ball should of resulted in shots on goal and didn’t.
I’d have no beef if they were on target forcing a save but it didn’t even lead to that. We can hope Thiago can be a striker and talles can create better chances drawing defenders in because no matter what the xg numbers say the most important number (actual goals scored) is not going up and losing points because of it.
