He will miss their game against the Red Bulls Sunday.

Unless they appeal it.

Michael Murillo receives his second yellow vs. Houston down 3-0 and will be suspended for that match as well.

Kaku sees a red card. And so does Figueroa for Houston. What is happening in Houston?

Dude both of Orlando's reds were nasty. Really nasty. Klestjan even knows it was nasty. I hope they don't do that against us in the open cup game, because we need our players alive for the derby...

Atlanta and RB blown out. RB got two red cards. Kaku with a straight red. Does he miss the derby?

Good things my friend. Good things.

Not unless he gets an additional suspension for whatever it was.

LGP’s Red was very soft. He was sliding to block a cross and the ball came off his trailing arm. Penalty, yes. Yellow, maybe. But Red I don’t get.

I think the red was due to DOGSO

It was quite a harsh penalty but arguably justified. DOGSO in the box is only a red if intentional. Handballs aside, this usually means no attempt to play the ball. On a handball I guess it is the opposite.
He trails one arm behind him right into the path of the ball and appears to watch the ball hit it. His other arm appears to be closer to his body. I guess the ref inferred that he did it on purpose. I saw one Atlanta fan, [on Twitter?], opine that LGP's antics and repetitive whining to the refs caught up with him.

Yeah, that's what it looked like to me. It looks clearly intentional bc he could have easily kept his hand somewhere else. He knew, and therefore DOGSO red.

I would think DOGSO would only apply on a shot, not a cross. And even if it was a shot, I don’t think you pull a red unless it’s more obviously a premeditated attempt to stop a clear goal.

Not that I am weeping for a dick like LGP.
