Most Important Player Lost Since MLS Cup Win?

Ok, now that we are struggling, I've reflected on our better days and it was quite stunning to look back and realize just how much we have lost since our Cup run.

Criteria:
Focus on the loss of what that particular player meant for the team, not on how well/poorly the team replaced him.

It doesn't matter when/why the player left.

It's gotta be Maxi. He controlled every game he played in. A true maestro. Other players might have put out more fires, but as we're seeing now we are nothing without a star No. 10.

I voted the same way. The main thing he, and Callens brought (other than elite level play) was leadership for all these talented youngsters we have. That's an underappreciated quality.

Obviously, the one player I want back most at this moment is Taty because of the glaring hole in our roster, but that has more to do with our roster moves since.
