I'll hold judgment until I see more, but does a rugby shirt for a football team feel a little odd to anybody else? Apart from that it looks like most ONLY NY stuff. Real clean bordering on uninspired. Will probably look amazing after 20 washes though.
No worse than a baseball cap for a soccer club. At least rugby and soccer used to be one sport. I agree about the designs tho.

That's funny because rugby shirts used to be a huge fashion thing a while ago, maybe in the '80s or something. Like you'd have heard of rugby but there was no way you'd ever seen it played here in the US, except that everyone was wearing randomly colored rugby shirts simply because they were cool. So back then there wasn't really any association of the shirt with the sport, at least not here. It was just a thing you wore.
