Seen this Academy thread and thought I’d pop this in:

Our Rangers FC podcast - The Gallant Few - had an interview with NYC FC’s regional co-ordinator for youth development; Calum Sinclair.

A really insightful interview into Calum’s role and his take on youth development within NYC and the USA in general. We also compare the development culture in the states to back home in Scotland, and how Rangers’ links with US clubs could be beneficial for both sides.

Sorry. Don’t know. We had another one lined up for about 15 months but there have been residency and green card complications.

i'm curious if the club ever reached out to sign him and they just didn't want to commit.. or if the club never approached him at all.

have these academies produced players in the pros? i could of sworn there were other teams with their academies here already in area. I think the only one that has produced is the barca one in arizona ( i think its in arizona)

Where do I even go to get good information on our academy and its prospects anymore? For example, NYCFC website still lists Joe Scally on the U-18/19 team.

its really difficult now from what i have read. once MLS NEXT took over its hard to find info across the league.

EDIT: i guess we just rely on whatever streams or videos NYCFC/ MLS NEXT provide
