I wasn't assuming he is going to ditch us. I assumed he would be a 3-4 year college player and not really improve beyond physical strength.
so another Shelton?

That British guy who's always yelling and whistling in the Inside Training videos is now yelling and whistling at the academy kids.

I'm don't consider this NYCFC. This is national team news that affects NYCFC. Not directly NYCFC news.
If the team doesn't sign some players they could be on the first team this season. Why? Here are three kids that could be on the first team in the next four years.
Interesting. Seattle Sounders also with 3 call ups.Getting closer to #Gio2020 #GioFirstHistoricHomeGrown

ur just mad that you couldn't create the NYCFC USYNT threadI'm don't consider this NYCFC. This is national team news that affects NYCFC. Not directly NYCFC news.
Can't fall off the floor; up is the only direction we can move. Can use G/TAM to pillage the superdraft until we have products steadily coming through the youf ranks
There's a means to NYCFC's madness of starting only one team at the U-14 level, to have all players playing the same style throughout the academy.... but it was absolute madness to not start older teams to poach/lay-claim to the talent. Those older players would be no different than drafting a college freshman that didn't have the CFG-style embedded in their skill set, but is talented enough to possibly contribute to the roster.
Atlanta's just a better area for soccer talentThere's a means to NYCFC's madness of starting only one team at the U-14 level, to have all players playing the same style throughout the academy.... but it was absolute madness to not start older teams to poach/lay-claim to the talent. Yeah, we royally fcked that one up, and I'd love to listen to the internal conversations laying out the pos/neg aspects of only investing in the u-14 team, and which FO people were on which side of the discussion. The fact that Atlanta hasn't even played a single minute and they've already graduated a few HG with youth national team experience is a kick in the teeth to our setup.
