You're right for a long time I've used that word without thinking about the origin of it thank you for having me think about it more and apologies to Fred for being so defensive about my avatar. I really like it a lot because I think it connects to me more without being boring if you get what I'm saying.

Have you been to Long Island. That's the exact context I was thinking of. JAP for me is anyone upper middle class and spending Daddy's credit cards. I was playing nice and apologized for my comment but I feel like at this point your getting offended for the sake of getting offended. I no longer practice Shabbat or fast on Yom Kippur but being a Jew is still a big part of who I am. As you said context is key and you made assumptions without context.

I actually thought equating "Jewish American Princess" with "sorority girl" and "southern belle" was the outlandish comment.

PS Long Island born and bred, and came of age in the 80s a stones throw from the 5 Towns. So yes, I'm familiar with the term.

I think you're valuing top-drawer rankings a bit too much. From what I have heard, he had not been in the starting lineup for some time, prior to the move. This in addition to not being called up to the last several US camps (last one I see is April 2016) leads me to believe that perhaps these numbers may be dated. Now, I am not saying whether he should or should not be, but I am saying that perhaps we take the rankings with a grain of salt, as they likely have roughly equivalent insight as us when it comes to making these rankings,
