That was pretty. For a tap-in he still had plenty to do. Love the push to separate from the defender.
Medina scored as well and Jon Inge Berget bagged a hat trick
He also assisted the winning goal with a nice header towards the other player
I love that I have absolutely no idea if this is real or satire.
Imagine being called up consistently for Peru, then moving to Europe thinking you can cement your place even further, only to basically never play and just never get called up ever again.
this cautionary tale should be included in the orientation packet for new signees. Let them think twice about heading off to greener pastures at the first opportunity
Imagine working all your life to be great at soccer and getting an opportunity to play in one of the top leagues in the world and passing on it? No player is passing on a chance to see if they can compete at an even higher level.
Callens was consistently one of the best CBs in MLS. When he left he had nothing left to prove here, he tried to push himself to the next level and he found his ceiling, there is no shame in that. Using the power of hindsight to have a snarky take on a club legend that tried to go to the next level and failed is not a great take IMO.
so good to see taty getting another start! makes me proud to see him succeed in serie A
Just pointing out that the second leading scorer for the team in second in La Liga is an alum.
