Does Keane have injury problems that might be long term? Career ending or just never be the same etc. level? Cause he is an all time great in MLS so not sure picking him up for a year is something to scoff at if not. I see he only played 17 games this season so Lampard part 2 would be my worry. Otherwise , while we might be able to do better, I'd think one of the MLS' best all time scorers to go with Villa shouldn't be dismissed out of hand.

He missed a lot of time for the Euros I believe. Tough year for him.

He's 19 years old, he's fast, has a great first touch, excellent on the ball. He's essentially everything Mikey Lopez could be.

Armchair scouting: FIFA has his potential at 85. Sign me up. Another Matarrita type but better. Seems like he would be a great shuttler for Pirlo.

That said, looks like there's European interest. Matarrita said he came here because he thought the platform was better to launch a European career. May not be the case with Galdames.
