I would still give Alan Gordon 100-150k to be either a second or third string striker.

The guy has proven to be an impact striker sub and I think with the upcoming salary bump and more TAM/GAM floating around, it would be worth it.

ETA: He was on 150k last year, so there or slightly less seems reasonable IMO

LAFC bought 400 central mids and has way too many, Benny just happened to be on the losing end of having a ton of central midfielders ahead of him. I don't think it was attitude, but with a few DPs and slightly higher rated players ahead of him, LAFC cut him. Wouldn't mind him coming here, albeit at a decent price.

He’s also local, growing up closer to NYC than TMac.

Sure, but the interest has to be a double-edged sword. If he has an offer in Europe, hard to see why he'd come here unless he wants to.

Not sure the best use of our salary cap is improving on what is already our strength. This team needs offense; the defense is not a position of need.

I think he was implying that if you play two central attacking mods, we would probably play in a 3-5-2 formation
