Interesting...Doyle’s “One big Question” for Seattle was how they were going to reintegrate Morris now that they have Ruidiaz. Wondering at what point Morris might be expendable there and would he be a fit for us up top? Personally I have never really rated him, and I’d rather have a Falcao type but with Berget seemingly out the door we should have two striker slots open.

Morris makes $234k. That’s 1/4 Berget’s Salary. You wouldn’t even need to use TAM. But I’m not sure he’s any good anymore. Worth a flyer. Especially bc he’s young and American with USMNT experience. That’s marketable.

I agree with this. Ultimate “prove-it” contract would be ideal. Chip on his shoulder, has talent, just needs to figure out consistency.
