well since San Antonio is our partner club...
Really hard to compare that level to MLS, speed of play etc., at least for me.
We signed Bedoya because he did well in a scrimmage.
There’s more to the story than that. We did someone a solid that we thought would pay dividends in the future
looks like he is a defensive midfielder. Im seeing in spanish twitter that he is being loaned to us from CFG. So well see, most likely TAM.
Another strong box-to-box or defensive guy is a priority, so hopefully this comes through.
I don’t believe that’s a thing yet. Maybe he gets added retroactively once it is implemented - probably 2021.
Is it really a priority? We have a log jam of defensive midfielders already. Rings, Sands, Parks. I Was hoping he’d more offensive minded.
As I see it, Parks is more of an 8/10. Ring is a 6/8. Sands is a 6 but will also play CB. If we have a reliable 6, that will allow Ring to play the 8.
Sands is a 4/5.5
Ring is a 6/6.01
Parks is an 8/8 who can’t score
Medina is a zero.
Sands is also a short timer so a replacement in a critical position for our style is key.
Another logical scenario is that he is a really good player that we could acquire. I’m as guilty of this as anyone else - sometimes teams just go out and acquire available talent as an investment.
Yea It was actually the user tagged in that tweet. Saw it here then saw it being repeated elsewhere too.
Is there documented interest in Sands or are we just presuming his age/talent that we can't hold on to him for long?
