he makes simple mistakes like forgetting about his man or poor giveaways. it's not about the quality of the league. it's just who he is as a player. besides, he'd be playing in tinnerholm's positions and i'm fine with tinny at his salary. he needs to work on his crosses, but he does a pretty good job at defending.
according to this peruvian site we made offer to jefferson farfan ( 35 yr old peruvian striker). he has other offers from timbers, montreal, miami.

Does he have a history of getting injured a lot before he came over here? He missed 3 games last season and 1 game so far this season due to injury, so that's not a whole ton.
Heber did, yes. I recall reading he was injury prone when it was announced he'd be coming. Could have swore he missed more than 3 games last season. Though maybe it was only 3 since he didnt' show up until a 3rd of the way through the season, so i could be imagining it being longer.
As a proud Peruvian-American I say: don't believe a word of what you read off Peruvian soccer websites. They make stuff up for a living every single day. OTOH Farfan is ridiculously talented and would provide great creativity if he has anything left in the tank.
i tend to take all latin america sources with a grain of salt, at least at first. However for farfan it seems miami is the one most advanced:

Oh I’m not saying it’s him because I have zero knowledge of his play. Just saying I wouldn’t mind an upgrade as he’s aging and has had some issues of late.
perhaps ronny just wants a backup, not a replacement. ibby is still injured and sands could be going to europe before we know it.

at this rate i rather throw in Tayvon Gray and let him get the experience
totally agree. almost forgot we had tavvon. would much rather get him experience too than roll the dice on an old guy with proven lack of defensive ability.
i'm getting flashbacks of amagat and imagining this guy getting red cards and/or giving up a PK in a close game
