Can't remember the social media team pulling an antic like this in the past. Didn't like it.
I would say most English teams I follow pull a similar shtick before every transfer announcement to drum up interest. It's a bit twee, but hardly worth criticizing the social media guys for.
If he goes to an MLS club other than ours (discovery rights aside), it will be a major failure at the hands of CFG
Then we'll settle for Griezmann.
I feel so old . I rember Aguero coming off the bench to score two against Swansea on his city debut like it was yesterday . I think somone else already said it but if he comes to mls anywhere but NYCFC. It would be a massive failure on CFG’s part .

It would be nice to start the season with at least one natural CF, which he is not. So, my answer is no.
* NYCFC DPs have played in only 72% of available games since 2015. 2020 was the worst year for DP participation since 2015.
I would not bet that this is the year we break the perfect streak of having at least 1 DP miss at least 10 games. In six years we have had 8 DPs miss at least 10 games in a season. Only 3 of those instances were due to injury (Lampard in 2016, Villa in 2018, and Moralez in 2020). Another 3 were due to a decision by the club to go a half-season with empty DP slot(s) (Lampard and Pirlo in 2015, Mitrita in 2020). Twice it happened mostly because the coach decided to keep a Designated Player off the field (Pirlo 2017, Medina 2019).
