Where is he playing now?I liked the look of Anthony Lozano for Guatemala last night. 22-years-old, spent time in Spanish 2nd division. He needs and deserves a good place to grow.
Where is he playing now?
First thing I found when I googled his name was this. He's back in Guatemala. Seems an ideal pickup for an MLS team wanting to groom a young striker.
Eh.We do have serious age issues. This roster needs to younger quickly. 2 of the youngest guys are on loan from MC. Remove them, average goes way up.
Hey that's me!Eh.
Edit: Sorry, haven't a hell of a time emedding. Hopefully this is it.

There's no combined list, I checked. I don't care what their ages are as long as we keep winning. The late 90's Yankees brought in aging stars for a year or two and won. Why can't we do the same here? Bring them in for a year or two while we develop our own younger guys like Poku, Shelton and Mullins. Two pick two teams at random since there doesn't seem to be a combined list out there:
Philadelphia:
25 or younger: 19
26-30: 10
31 or older: 4
Montreal:
25 or younger: 15
26-30: 9
30 or older: 5
NYCFCfan's numbers for NYCFC: 14, 6, 10
While Philadelphia has a few more U25s, they also have a bigger roster (33 vs 29&30).
Of the players MagnusPax mentioned, I expect Hernandez, Wingert, Grabovoy, and Ballouchy to all see a decreased role as reinforcements arrive (both known and unknown). As an expansion team, I'm not surprised to see us skew slightly older, but I don't think it's a problem or anything to worry about. If they keep bringing in 35 year olds, sure, but there's no indication of that happening.
Im not convinced that all of them will see decreased roles. Hernandez vs Facey. Ballouchy or Grabavoy vs McNamara, Calle? Calle/Angelino vs Wingert? The rest of the list still adds up to 5 without them. Are there good MLS teams with 5 or 6 plus 30 year olds in starting 11? Who cares is on the bench or reserves. Two pick two teams at random since there doesn't seem to be a combined list out there:

Alberto Cerri has been the star of many a DoctorHoosier Football Manager save.Players with no link but who we could maybe, possibly, realistically go after. (all available on free transfers)
Isaac Cuenca - 24 RW
Was supposed to be the next great Barcelona attacker but never lived up to the hype though he has shown flashes of brilliance in the past. Could use the Barcelona connection we have to sign him up.
Ezequiel Munoz - 24 CB
Young defender who had been targeted by Spurs among other Premier League teams in the past.
Alberto Cerri - 19 ST
Let's keep raiding Parma. He's been playing with Italy's U18 & U19 teams so he's clearly got some talent. A young Italian up top to pair with Villa and who could help Pirlo feel at home. Yes please.
Mauro dos Santos - 26 CB
Young defender just started to cut his teeth in La Liga. Let's build a backline for the next 5 years.
Ok ok... I get it, you want Americans.
Conor O'Brien - 26 CM
"Who?" He's a Long Island boy playing in Austria. Won't you give Conor a chance?
Stefan Jerome 22 - ST
"Ok now you're just making names up." I'm not I promise. Played (very briefly) for Ft. Lauderdale before moving to the Czech Republic. He played with the US U-17 team so lets give the man a fair trial at least!
Evgeni Starikov - 26 ST
"You said Americans!" I did. He's an American born in Ukraine. He's actually played for the US U-23 team and has spent most of his career bouncing around Russia. Can't be worse than Nemec right?
Just change this thread name to A Dream of Zlatan. There is only one.
Zlatan.
