Wayne Rooney has stated that he'd consider following Gerrard and Lampard (and his own brother) to MLS once his career with Man U dies down. Of course, he's only 29, so that's probably a good 8-10 years off.

And it's Wayne Rooney. I'd pay extra not to have him on our team. Troll looking shitbird.I know it's reality, but I hate these comments from players. I also know they are probably prompted by reporters with questions about MLS, but why are they speculating on something that could happen years from now? I don't want to hear about that. Either you're interested in coming now, or say "it's a fast improving league, but I'm committed to [current team] right now."
None of this "yeah, when I'm old and can't hack it in England anymore, I'll consider taking another paycheck in American." I mean, no shit. It's like players are trying to compliment MLS and open a future door, but they are just backhanding us in the process.
The question answers itself.
I, for one, would be happy to have Weetabix in celeste.
You must be referring to the Central Park pond. danger is as British as a properly salted and seasoned meal.I, for one, would be happy to have Weetabix in celeste.
Side note: I definitely think you identify yourself as from across the pond when you reference Weetabix. Great stuff. Add lots of sugar.
How about T&T's forward Kenwyne Jones, who has had a good career as a target striker in England. He's currently with Cardiff City and previously played for Sunderland, Stoke and Southampton. Cardiff are rumored to want to shed his salary now that they're in the 2nd division. He would be a DP in all likelihood, but a cheap one. Not sure if he could be signed with TAM funds.

Orlando making a play for Ganso. Let's get our own Brazillian: Pato. He's only 25

I want Stu to give it a go one more time, but wearing the NYC shirt. 85% of peak Stu along Mix and Pirlo would be killer. He was one hell of a midfielder. He may still be. And he'd probably be cheaper than Grabavoy.
This article sounds like a guy who will be ready to go for it by January.

Why did we waste a DP slot on Fat FrankIbrahimovic: 'I want MLS!'
By Football Italia staff
Zlatan Ibrahimovic freezes Milan as he reveals that he would 'absolutely' like to play in Major League Soccer.
The Swedish giant is being aggressively targeted by the Rossoneri, but in an interview with Yahoo Sports, he said he would appreciate a more exotic destination.
"I would like to play in U.S., absolutely," said the 34-year-old. "I would like to play. Which team? Am I allowed to say that? No, I cannot say that.
"I think it would be an amazing experience. I see that soccer is growing a lot in U.S.
“I mean, I was here 10 years ago [and] soccer was not on the level that it is today, but it's growing.
“It's growing in the right direction and I want it to be on the level of Europe. It will come here.
"I think many want to come over here and play.
"Maybe not in the beginning of the career, like in the second part of the career [to] enjoy U.S. with the soccer at the same time and have the possibility to live here.”
Ibrahimovic also showcased his famous winning mentality as he revealed what his objectives would be.
"I don't want to be the player that comes because of my name.
“If I come, I want to bring results. Or else I will not come. To win trophies – that is what I play for. That is my job.
