Anyone notice a few times in the beginning of the game Iraola would move the ball up the field and then pass inside to grabavoy or ballouchy, and look surprised when they passed it backwards? Then he stopped passing to them and would just bomb it upfield to Villa? I thought it was funny to watch his realization of what they do with the ball.

We could be in for some growing pains, it sucks that we aren't going to have the full midfield together for another three weeks at best.

An 8 goal game is rare in soccer, at least between two "good" teams. The last one I can recall is Germany-Brazil, lol.

The centre half positional play was woeful and their ability to defend a long ball on more than one occasion should never happen in any competitive match - they were out of position, too high up the pitch and too square. Pirlo and Lampard should start and allow Villa to pull out to his natural wider position, Leaving Lamps to drift up and fill in the gap on the attack; he's been scoring goals like that in the Premier League all his career
