October 22nd Game Moved to Citi Field

I've heard it mentioned before but not sure where you can get it. Note that I've amended my post to add that it's also on Fox Sports Go as well.

And yes, we're pre-empted by an NBA game. Not sure if it's preseason or a real game though.
nba starts regular season this week

Is there a YES2? Why can't they show it live? NBA season hasn't started yet and MLB rights are held by TBS or FOX...

Nets have a game at the same time we do next Sunday, that's why NYCFC is on YES2.

YES2 is an overflow channel -- on Verizon FIOS they normally put it on 501 (FIOS 1 News).

Here's the list of channel locations when they did this for the Nets in the spring, to give you an idea of where you might find it.

Don't even have it in HD. Great...
If you’re not actually going to the game, does anybody really need HD to see the team implode? I’m going to see the meltdown live, but at this point I have no faith we’re going in to the playoffs with any sort of positive momentum. I hope they prove me wrong, and get their collective shit together winning Sunday and then straight through the playoffs, but considering how the last 8 games have gone, with almost no sustained scoring, we’re desperately trying to recreate the Toronto shellacking of last year.

It's completely fair. We need fans there. We need an atmosphere. We have a part to play in this too, and the game is in a (perhaps better) arena that is just a stone's throw away.

No, it's not fair. I trek back from Philadelphia for the games. I have a young family. I was one of the first 1,000 season ticket holders. I've paid the club A LOT of money. Maybe not as much as LionNYC has, but it's a sizeable amount. I don't really care about something as stupid as Fan Appreciation Day. What I do care about is being able to attend the match and sit in the seats I paid for. That's all. As a paying customer, I have the right to be pissed off. The last two home matches of the season have now been moved on me. Those were two matches my family and I had planned our schedules around. I think it's ok for me to be less than thrilled right now.

And there is no shot in hell I would be able to get to Citi Field for a playoff match, which pisses me off even more.

My only point is that you don't get to bitch about TV coverage if it is easy to attend the game in person.

Props to you for coming from Philly, by the way. I didn't know that. I get the frustration, but not why this should be more inconvenient.

That two way street is exactly the point of being a fan. If you don't want the allegiance to the front office, fine, but loyalty to and support of the players and the fan community is part of the bargain.
You're starting to sound to me like the Blue Moon crowd, so I'm I'm gonna drop this convo because I like you and because I was tired of it 3 years ago. Cheers.

Coming from Philly, it is more difficult to get to Citi Field than it is Yankee Stadium. That's part of my frustration. It's not easy to attend the game in person is my whole point.

People in Philadelphia could care less about the Union. It's a very closed minded sports town
