I don't know what to make of NYCFC Watch. I think they just aggregate, but I've DM'd the person who runs the account and they have been more than happy to respond.

The night of the Iraola news, the story officially broke overseas 3 hours before NYCFC Watch launched the "someone will train tomorrow" news. Which made me think he/she saw the news by doing a Twitter Search on NYCFC - where 50 other accounts were tweeting goodbye to Iraola and have fun in NYC.

But who knows?

Can't just post shit like this brah. Give us something to go by lol. Now I have to get the Google out and figure it out myself.
Facebook post of an NYCFC fan with him on the Supporters page. I don't want to post the pic without his permission, but it's definitely Pirlo and he's definitely wearing patterned capri pants.

ETA: tineye says it's legit.

Both he and Marcelo are in New York City this week according to Twitter.

Really hope that there is some truth to the tweet stating "dapper and dashing Italian man resembling Italian futbol hero seen browsing beard grooming products in trendy TriBeCa salon wearing a POKE ME? POKU t-shirt". Source unconfirmed.

A. NYCFC Watch is as reliable as the info they find...I doubt they have more solid sources than the new stories that they quote. That being said, at least they're looking for info, so I appreciate that.

B. That video is definitely awesome...

C. Balo has his haters...with his head in it, the guy is a beast. Like him or not, he is worth the gamble within the right situation. I would take him in a heartbeat here.

D. Those pants are legit.

E. This just might be happening...and we just might be watching NYCFC make legit run this summer and get to watch Lampard, Pirlo, Villa in this city. Pretty f'n cool if you ask me.

and the wait continues...

I'm going to go on Facebook and Twitter to ask NYCFC what's up with Pirlo?

What are the odds I get a reply? Snowballs chance in hell or less than that? :D

I love this post. On so many levels. Imagine sitting in a packed Yankee Stadium in October - thanks to our late arrivals, we've now made the 5th Spot in the East and after beating Columbus, we've advanced to play DC United.

42k in the stadium. 1-1 game. 85th minute. Pirlo curls one upper 90 on a free kick, but future USMNT Keeper Bill Hamid makes a highlight reel save. Lampard, as he is want to do, runs onto the save and sends it past a lunging Hamid to bury the game and NYCFC wins the second round on aggregate, 3-2.

Regarding, Balotelli, he would be great in MLS. You need to know what you are getting into - but there is going to come a point in time, probably on his next free transfer, where this league will pay him more than anyone else, except maybe Russia and Turkey. I don't know when he's available on a Bosman, but him in Miami in 2018 or 2020 would be fun.

I would put even money on him being here before Cristiano.

If he name dropped his source, he'd probably have a hard time getting exclusive info now would he?
I'm not asking for named sources at all. I'm saying that some tweets that aren't insider information are presented as insider information -- when they really pulled it from another tweet elsewhere.

It's a really common tactic in sports reporting -- the ESPN guys do it all the time -- but I don't like it.
