How excited should be on a scale of one to ten? Or Mix's five o'clock shadow to a Pirlo beard?
if all Bondy is saying is true and he and Daily News has the scoop, is this why all the other bloggers and "MLS Insiders" are mad at nycfc and always trash them? because scoops are given to actual media outlets and not them?
I'm sorry but I dont know what else they are targeting. There are no other signings right now. They have offers out there but no idea who they are out to. I would expect 3 more. This is my editorial the next part - but sounds like more than 3 players targeted. With 3 hopeful new signings.
Imagine the millions of fans we just gained lol

I'm sorry but I don't know. Seemed pretty excited about the "activity" if that makes any sense? Almost like we get excited about the activity we read about. The silly season isn't just silly for us.
This is another editorial of mine - I have a feeling they knew what was happening all along. The management - maybe not the coaching. Still struggling with that one.
But if you know you can get a player LIKE Iraola, a player LIKE Angelino, a player LIKE Pirlo, and the others (not saying they knew these were the guys all along) then you pick up pieces like Wingert, Brovsky, Seba, Ballouchy. Those guys know the system and can play right away. If you know the cavalry is coming in July then why not just try and muddle through with the old hands. Makes the selections of and trades for the players we have been upset with a lot more understandable.

So if he signs...I'm glad that all these NYCFC accounts all said he wasn't coming here last week, says their "sources". Now I know not to listen to any of them going forward...yeah I'm talking to you NYCFCWATCH amongst others.
This wait for all our new recruits is gonna drag ass. On the plus side, at least we are starting to play some ball of late, so they don't come in here and say - WTF did I get myself involved in.

That's spot on. Building a team during the middle of every other leagues season is very difficult. Having only MLS players at your disposal and players who aren't playing for a team at all.
I had faith in CFG, Claudio and sorriano to make the necessary moves come transfer window and it looks like they are doing that and then some.
Another great point by you. These guys operate in the Summer transfer window. They probably had targets last summer for this particular window. We already know European teams operate two windows out (look at the courting of Khedira for example). Starting to believe they identified Iraola as a guy they wanted 11 months ago.
